Gel Eze Sheepskin Pad - Review

 I know the riser pad sensation right now is the famous Ogilvy. But I'm not talking about them today. I'm talking about the classic, elegant, good and old sheepskin pads.

    I bought on february of this year a Gel-Eze sheepskin pad, on Equiporium.co.uk. The pad arrived this month, july, was not a mystake from the store, it was the mails fault (not explaining here).I'm gonna say: I got dissapointed when it arrived, as in the pics showed a beautiful white sheepskin, and now the sheepskin was natural...
.Anyways. I brought it to the barn so I could try on my horse. I got super nervous, and almost freak out when I thought the pad was too big for him. I emailed the lady of the shop, asking which would be the best size for my horse, telling her the informations necessary. The answer was "Large", but I think, may a"Medium" would also fit him. Fortunately the pad fit perfectly!! Yeey. Ok no more stories, let's do the review.

I totally recommend this pad. I can feel the difference while riding my horse, it's way more comfortable. I barely used this pad and my trainer it's like " Where did you buy it? You could send me the link of the shop? How much it cost? Could you borrow your pad to me? I want to try it " .Do you see this blue things? It's a gel, which reduces the impact. The pic below you can see the technology of the pad, making easier to the horse transpire while training.

 Eskadron - Anti Fly Hood PLATINUM: My bonnets are made especially for my horse, matching with the saddlepads is never complicated, hahah. But I'm on my way to open an exception and buy this pretty bonnet, so sophisticated, elegant I have to say. Again I have to say this is for shows!!! Eskadron - Fleece Bandages Sequin PLATINUM: This is probaly the most fashion polo wraps I've ever seen! This an exclusive and strictly limited edition so you better hurry up !! Again, this product was not made to be use on daily training. This polo will bring an elegant look  to your horse. I don't own them, so I can't give you a real review. Eskadron - fleece bandages PLATINUM: Cheaper, and more "basic" polo wraps. This is pretty similar to the previous fleece bandages of last Platinum Collection. Eskadron Headcollar Satin with Lambskin PLATINUM: For every stylish horse, is needed a stylish halter.The lambskin will protect your horse of future pain that he may have because of the bridle pressure. Eskadron shows up a stunning collection, I have to say I'm speechless, and still have to comment about some of their new fleeces. Avaible on black and ebony colors, full/cob and oversize. Eskadron Headcollar Satin PLATINUM: This one doesn't come with the lambskin, but still stunning, such an elegant halter. The glow is not like " LOOK HERE, GLOW " is elegant, totally support this idea. It's avaible on black and ebony color, full/cob and oversize.Can be bought for 26.00 euros on Calevo.com.

Saved the best for the final. There are too many rugs, too many things to me said. I'd rather just give a quick comment and show the pics.They can express themselves.Also I request you to pay attention, on the pics you can see the halters I've told you plus another things, just like the bandages fleeces.The prices go of 71.00 to 107.00 euros.

Calevo Sheepskin Padding - Review

 Product Review

 

   Most of the people know the brand Calevo, right? Sometime ago I bought online some stuff of Calevo webstore, one of the products was their sheepskin padding.

 

 

 Negatives:

 

•  I own them for like 9 months now, they get dirty with often.

 

•  The main problem I'd say, is that the padding is always escaping from the bridle, may the reason is  because my horse head is very big, I tested on horses with a smaller head and the padding fit perfectly.

 

• When you use padding, the bridle pressure will be lower, harder will be to control your horse.

Positives:

•  A classy detail on your day training.

 

• They are very effective, my horse used to get hurt because of the bridle, not anymore. Also the black part matches my black training tendon boot and black training saddlepad.

 

 

 

 

Conclusion:

 If they get dirt, you just have to wash them, it's easy. Your horse is gonna thank you for that, but there is also a little problem, you'll no longer have total pressure of the bridle, so controling your horse will be a little harder ( my horse is very strong and I can deal with it, so no problem at all ) Still, I love those padding and recommend them.  Equestrian with Style!!!!

 

   Here I'll post about equestrian trends, fashion, brands, reviews of products, where to buy and a lot of other stuff. I love horses, just like you, and in my opinion just because we work on the "dirt"... it doesn't mean you have to look ugly !! Of course not! You're an equestrian, do it with style! If you fall, fall with style. For now, I'll try to post everyday, the winter break is close, and I have plenty time to do whatever I like. When the break is over, I'll probaly post twice a week.
